This logo refresh for Amery Free Lutheran Church was made with the words, “modern” and “welcoming” in mind. The style of the line art and font were kept minimalist and the colors chosen to be bright and friendly. Because the area is lakes country in eastern Wisconsin, it seemed fitting to feature the landscape where the church lives and grows. The idea of spiritual growth in Christ is hinted at in the rising of the sun and in the four colors which reflect the four seasons. Each section of the symbol is formed around the cross – indicating the life in Christ that the Church seeks to know and to make known.
